The Pennsylvania Integrity Network mourns the passing of Charles "Sam" Faddis, who died on the evening of July 25, 2026, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. His wife, his four children, his brother, and other family members were with him. Sam was a retired CIA operations officer, a United States Army veteran, an author, and a senior editor at AND Magazine. To many across the Commonwealth, he was something simpler and harder to replace: a friend, a mentor, and an ally who showed up.

Sam died as a result of long-term COVID. He died while he waited on a lung transplant. He was a friend of mine. He was a true patriot who worked endlessly and fought against the radical left. May he rest in peace. Say some prayers for his spirit — that he may be resting with our Father, who will bring him comfort in Heaven. A fallen hero. Sam Faddis. The Pennsylvania Integrity Network will honor Sam Faddis by continuing his battle against the leftist Democrat communists, against the CCP, and exposing the truth. As Sam Faddis stood, we will stand in the breach.
Who Was Sam Faddis
Charles "Sam" Faddis served his country first in uniform and then in the shadows. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland School of Law, he served as a U.S. Army officer in the Armor Branch and the Judge Advocate General's Corps, retiring as a Captain, before spending a career as an operations officer with the Central Intelligence Agency.
After leaving the Agency, Sam turned to writing and public commentary. He authored Beyond Repair: The Decline and Fall of the CIA and Willful Neglect: The Dangerous Illusion of Homeland Security, served as a senior partner at Artemis, LLC, and became senior editor and chief contributor at AND Magazine. His analysis on national security, the Chinese Communist Party, and threats to the American republic reached audiences through Newsmax, The Hill, and countless broadcast appearances.
In recent years, Sam brought that same energy to Pennsylvania, working alongside grassroots patriot organizations across the Commonwealth on election integrity and civic accountability. He gave his time to people who had no platform and no budget, and he never made anyone feel small for asking a question.
Standing in the Breach
Sam Faddis spent his life refusing to look away. The Pennsylvania Integrity Network will carry that work forward — county by county, volunteer by volunteer — because the causes he served did not end with him.
The family has asked for privacy as they mourn. We ask our members to honor that request, and to keep his wife, his children, and his family in their prayers.
